Property of a Private Collector
A bespoke one off and extremely rare collection of amazingly perfect scratch built 1:8th and 1:10th scale pre and post war model cars, utilising authentic raw materials as per the original cars and with three examples in the collection actually able to drive. All come with highly detailed cockpit interiors and engine bays, have opening doors, bonnets and boots and all were part of extremely limited runs by some of the best model builders in the world. Materials used in the model cars, include steel, aluminium, copper and brass, glass and perspex, chrome work, rubber, wood, carpet work, canvas and resin.
This sort of collection comes literally once in a lifetime and has been collated over three decades by the owner who has a superlative sense of the perfection needed in a assembling a collection of some of the most famous cars in the world.
